World Harvest Bible Church is a city-wide local church based in Salford Quays reaching out to the Greater Manchester area, the UK and furthest parts of the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. WHBC reflects the multi-generational & multi-cultural nature of Manchester & Salford. Currently around 350 adults & children from over 30 different nations call WHBC their home and our ministry operates in 7 different nations.
The first church began with 17 people in the Copthorne Hotel and stayed there for the next 5 years; the second church began with 7 people in Pastors Alan & Claire’s home, moving 18 months later into a local Scout Hall.
16 years later we now celebrate together from our own premises, the Sanctuary and Studio4.
The new World Harvest Bible Church has propelled the whole leadership into a new faith adventure with the establishing of training centres in Nigeria and Egypt and the launch of a daughter church in Bradford in Autumn 2013.
This sense of the mandate of God is both humbling, challenging and empowering as together we seek to do.

WHBC Starts Meeting At The Copthorne Hotel
The Copthorne hotel was the meeting venue but the offices had since moved to be based in the u2018dungeonu2019 of the URC building and then to the Windsor church premises where many baptisms took place over the years. With so much growth going on a more permanent building was needed.

Hosting many anointed ministers with scores of students who have now graduated. This has evolved into the Rhema campus in Manchester.
Cafu00e9 Logos and Sunshine Nursery Open
This award winning Cafu00e9 and Nursery saw their doors opening to the public. This again showed the great location of Glenn House with its front doors being on the main road. It also opened up the church to having a touch point with the community and bringing the unsaved into the church buildings, face to face with a Christian witness.
WHBC Moves To The Sanctuary
After only a few years, WHBC was already too big for the meeting area upstairs in Glenn House and another premises was needed. The move was made into the Sanctuary, the building we are in today. This increased the capacity for the Sunday attendance and allowed many existing parts of the ministry to continue to grow whilst also creating opportunities for new avenues to be explored. Over the years WHBC has seen real strengths in the training centre, Farsi ministry, and key conferences such as Spring Thing and Destiny Week to name but a few.
Marriage Of Both Churches
Two years after au00a0prophetic word given about unity, and fiveu00a0months of planning and many meetings, the churches merged bringing the two sets of strengths together to build something far greater in the kingdom than they would have been on their own. Two strong healthy churches, World Harvest Bible Church and Kingdom Faith Manchester made a decision that together they are stronger and came together in marriage. This was a truly significant day and many could see it as the springboard for all that has happened since and all that is planned for the future.
Studio4 Is Purchaced
